Chaque année, l'association des Sections Internationale Britanniques (ASIBA) organise un concours de poésie pour les élèves scolarisés en SIB en France et dans les lycées de l'AEFE.
Cette année, la thématique était "The Sea". Toutes nos félicitations à Laleh Bernstein de la 3ème SIB, finaliste dans la catégorie "Junior";

Sea of Thought
Thoughts are like the little longitudinal waves at your feet,
Cool water softly caressing your skin,
You let go of your inhibitions, you let the thoughts in,
The little drops of turquoise drive away the heat.
The current of cogitation grows stronger,
You venture till you’re in waist deep,
But a nagging curiosity begins to creep,
And drags you in further.
Fully submerged in the liquid aspects of your pondering,
Your mind attempts to steer away from the current,
Fighting the growing cognitive torrent,
Yet it cannot resist, and you are swept in.
The fear pools in over your head,
Whirlwinds and tycoons of fear,
They topple your wits and storm on your cheer,
Till you are drowned in a sea of dread.
