Choosing for French education
France has one of the best education systems in the world, with a national programme adapted to the modern world and recognised learning methods.
Preschool
In introducing pupils to the learning process at the very youngest age, nursery school is one of the notable strengths of the French education system. Pupils perfect their oral expression and begin to discover the world of writing, numbers and other fields of learning.

Elementary school
Command of the French language and the first elements of mathematics are the priority goals of elementary school. This provides pupils with access to the fundamental tools of knowledge.
The collège
At the collège or middle school pupils organise their time on the basis of a weekly timetable with slots for each subject. All subjects are taught by specialised teachers and the class teacher coordinates the class. He heads “class life” hours for dialogue and information.

The lycée
Pupils progressively refine a project and personalise their study. Pupils can sit for a “conventional” Baccalauréat " or "European section” or the "International French Baccalauréat " (BFI).
They personalise their curriculum by choosing from among the special subjects and a number of optional subjects.
The IDC
The Information and Documentation Centreis richly stocked with 20,000 works of fiction, non-fiction and journals, in French and foreign languages.
Internet access and group work spaces are also made available.
Teacher librarians initiate many projects, including books and literature week, the Jean-Monnet literary prize and the Manga Club.
A conference room hosts regular events with guest speakers and exhibitions.

Orientation and Further Study
The Lycée Français Jean-Monnet supports pupils as they build a personal and professional project. The orientation service organizes workshops and conferences throughout the year and is also available for individual interviews with pupils and their families.
