Coming to the LFJM from a non-French curriculum
The Lycée Français Jean-Monnet welcomes children of all nationalities in a climate of openness to others.

Many foreign universities, particularly North American ones, consider the last year in a French high school to be equivalent to the first year of post-secondary education.

Comment constituer mon dossier de demande d’inscription ?
The list of useful documents depends on the level of the student but you can include:
- a copy of the child's full birth certificate, and proof of identity for each parent;
- report cards from the previous year and the current year;
- a school certificate;
- an exeat (certificate of cancellation from the previous establishment) specifying that you are in good standing with the establishment's fund (to be sent at the end of the school year, as well as the bulletin of 3rd trimestre)..
You pay nothing when applying for registration.
To be informed of the opening of the admission campaign, you can leave us your contact details: provide registration list Name/first name/current country of residence/date of birth of child(ren)/email address.
You will be informed personally by email of the allocation of a place for your child(ren) from April. The allocation of places continues as places become available.
Registration is confirmed as long as the file is complete and payment of registration fees is paid.
Que faire si ma demande d’admission est placée sur la liste d’attente ?
It sometimes happens that our numbers do not allow us to admit new students at certain levels. In this case, your request is placed on the waiting list. Freed up places are allocated as withdrawals occur.
Est-il possible de s'inscrire en cours d'année ?
Under certain conditions, we welcome new students during the year. These requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact the admissions officer.
Mon enfant doit-il être de nationalité française ?
We welcome children of more than 60 different nationalities. Priority is given to children who come from a French school, from France or from abroad
Comment inscrire mon enfant en Section internationale ?
After validation of the registration of your child(ren), you are invited to choose from the systems offered.In classes with hourly parity in elementary school and "section international" in middle and high school, the number of places is limited. Access is subject to file review.

School fees
School fees are payable at the time of enrolling. Payments should be made by bank transfer on receipt of invoices or by monthly standing order.

Assistance with school fees
School scholarships
Students of French nationality registered at the Consulate General of France in Brussels can, subject to resource conditions, benefit from school scholarships granted by the AEFE.
You will find all the useful information: conditions of allocation, timetable for submitting applications, procedures to be carried out and forms on www.consulfrance-bruxelles.org.
Solidarity Fund
The school’s Solidarity Fund is designed to provide temporary assistance within the limits of available funds for families who may be experiencing temporary difficulties, thereby helping them to meet their financial obligations to the school.
To obtain assistance from the Solidarity Fund interested families should send a written request by email to the school head facturation@lyceefrancais.be.
The school’s Solidarity Committee meets regularly.


Scholarship for students with disabilities
For students of French nationality or dual nationality with a disability and followed by an attached MDPH, the family can receive, without resource conditions, assistance for the care of the accompanying person (AVS).
